FCA Students Pack Operation Christmas Child Boxes

McKENZIE (November 20) — Students in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes organized an event to provide gifts for children in third world nations through Operation Christmas Child. On Wednesday morning, before the school bell sounded, the students brought their donations of toys, pencils, and other essential items to pack in shoebox-sized containers to be sent to the children who otherwise would have no Christmas gifts.
Dan Ridley, a teacher at McKenzie High School, was pleased as the high school students shuffled in to assist with the project.
“This is the type of students we have at McKenzie High School,” said Ridley. He thanked them for waking early and giving of their time and money to help with the project.
