BRUCETON (April 8) — The Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central Lady Tigers hosted Huntingdon Thursday for a district softball game. The Fillies had big innings early and late to claim a 7-2 road win.
Huntingdon struck first with three runs in the top of the first. Central plated a run in each of the fourth and fifth innings to cut the deficit to one, but the Fillies plated one in the sixth and three in the seventh to seal the victory.
Rylee Holladay led the Huntingdon offense, going 2-for-4 with four RBIs. Kayla Pulling went 2-for-3 with a double, a walk, an RBI, two runs scored and a stolen base. Kenadie Gibson was 1-for-3 with a double and two RBIs. Lia Fuller went 1-for-3 with two runs scored and a stolen base. Josie Sanders was 1-for-1 with a run scored and a stolen base. Madison Mann was 1-for-1.
