Fudge Pecan Pie (Low Cholesterol)

1/2 cup margarine

3 tablespoons cocoa

3/4 cup hot water

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 -5 ounce can evaporated milk

1 cup pecans, chopped

1 deep dish pie crust

1 cup non-dairy whipped topping

2 cup sugar

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/8 teaspoon salt

In medium sauce pan, melt margarine; add cocoa and stir until dissolved. Add hot water and stir. With wire whip, blend in sugar, flour, salt, vanilla, and evaporated milk. Stir until batter is smooth. Mix in pecans and pour into pie crust. Bake on preheated cookie sheet in 350 degree pre-heated oven for 50 minutes or until a knife inserted 1 inch from edge comes out clean. Cool and serve with whipped topping.
