McKENZIE, Tennessee - Funeral services for Gary C. Winston are Sunday, December 29, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 29, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Trezevant Cemetery. Dr. Dennis Trull will officiate. Jimmy Bennett, Willilam Milam, Ronnie Orr, Stephen Eason, Tracy Savage, Paul Savage, Jeff Marshall and Greg Baker will serve as pallbearers.
Mr. Winston, 67, died Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at his deer stand. He attended First Baptist Church in McKenzie and retired from Ceco as a supervisor of water treatment.
He was born in McKenzie on December 7, 1957, to the late William H. “Billy” Winston and Mary Frances “Cassie” Allen Winston.
He is survived by his wife, Tammie Marshall Winston of McKenzie; three children, Scotty Winston and wife Kelly of Paris, Tami Winston of Dresden, and Brian Winston and wife, Allison of McKenzie; seven grandchildren, Grayson, Corban, Cohen, Regan, Riley, Avery and Owen and one great-grandson, Ellison.
