HUNTINGDON — The following cases were heard in Carroll General Sessions Court on October 20 and 21.

One case was bound over to Carroll County Circuit Court last week.

Destiny Hilliard, Hwy 641 North, Paris, bound over for Possession of Meth with Intent to Manufacture, Deliver, or Sell, Possession of Schedule IV Drugs with Intent to Manufacture, Deliver, Or Sell, Possession of Schedule VI Drugs with Intent to Manufacture, Deliver, or Sell, and Possession of Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia.

The following cases resulted in guilty verdicts or guilty pleas:

Latasha Dawn Burrough, Yuma Road, Yuma, guilty of Probation Violation, cost and taxes, 30 days in jail reporting 11/12/21, and probation extended 11/29; dismissed; charge of Failure To Appear.

Zackery Scott Eversole, Hwy 412, Friendship, guilty of Failure To Appear and Probation Violation, 30 days jail consecutive to 45 day serving.

April Lynn Gocal, Shekina Lane, Huntingdon, guilty of DUI-First Offense, 11/29 suspended, 11/27 unsupervised probation, $350 fine plus court costs, 48 hours jail reporting 11/13/21 and loss of license for 1 year; dismissed; charge of Child Abuse/Neglect/Endangerment 8 years or less.

Shianne Elizabeth Hunt, Paw Paw Lane, Huntingdon, guilty of Probation Violation and Failure To Appear, $100 fine, cost and taxes, 30 days in jail reporting 11/8/21, and appeal expires 11/1/21.

John R Jordan, Maytown Road, Huntingdon, guilty of Livestock Running At Large, $25 fine, cost and taxes.

Justin Lee Oliver, Hurt Street, Trezevant, guilty of Theft Up To $1,000, No sentence listed; dismissed; charges of Burglary-Other Than Habitation and Theft Up To $1,000.

Thomas Watkins, Hwy 114 North, Hollow Rock, guilty of Reckless Driving By Intoxicant, $350 fine, cost, and taxes, 48 hours jail reporting 11/12/21, 5/28 supervised probation, and must complete 90 days IOP outpatient program and file proof with probation office; dismissed: charges of Misdemeanor Implied Consent, Leave Scene of Accident-Property Damage, and Driving on the Right.

One case was granted pre-trial diversion last week.

Lori Lynne Larkins, Bell Store Road, Gleason, pre-trial diversion for Theft Up To $1,000, No Contact with Retail Business and Continued For Dismissal; dismissed; charge of Failure to Appear.

The following cases were dismissed:

John Othello Hightower, Cole Street, McKenzie, dismissed charge of Failure To Appear.

Brittney C Martinez, Natchez Trace Road, Lexington, dismissed charge of Tampering With Evidence.
