DRESDEN — A Weakley County man is hospitalized after he was shot February 10 while in a garage working on a car.
Weakley County Sheriff’s Captain Randall McGowan said the shooting injured 55-year-old Damron Lee Dildine of Gleason. The shooting occured in the 3600 block of Hwy. 54 between Dresden and Como.

The shooting occurred about 7 p.m. and authorities are still seeking the suspect.
McGowan said Dildine was transported to a local hospital by the Weakley County Ambulance Service. He underwent surgery and is expected to live, he said.
