Friday, December 6 the Cine Theatre in Martin is showing “Bernie the Dolphin 2”, the much anticipated sequel to “Bernie the Dolphin”. Marty Poole and Kirk Harris’ Fairway Films Alliance reunited with Ambi Media Group to produce the sequel.
The film was shot on location at Marineland Dolphin Adventure in St. Augustine, Fla., as well as in St. Petersburg-Clearwater.
Poole’s background includes twenty years in independent movies having written and produced a number of successful films. He serves as founder and president of Fairway Film Alliance, a full service independent film sales and production company.
“Bernie the Dolphin 2” is a family adventure about a brother and sister who befriend a badly sunburned dolphin. Kevin and Holly are thrilled that their dolphin friend Bernie has come back to the harbor. But so has their old enemy Winston (Kevin Sorbo, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys), who’s just gotten out of prison. As the kids have fun with playful dolphin Rascal and sassy parrot Mango, Winston is forced by his old partner to help kidnap the talented Bernie. This charming family comedy also stars Patrick Muldoon.
