Governor Lee to Announce New Economic Development

HUNTINGDON — Governor Bill Lee and Economic and Community Development Commissioner Bob Rolfe will be in Huntingdon on Tuesday, May 18, 3 p.m. to announce an economic development project.
Carroll County Mayor Joseph Butler said, “We are looking forward to a very exciting week for Carroll County! I want to invite you to an “Economic Development Announcement” on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at 3 p.m. at the Dixie Carter Performing Arts Center in Huntingdon. We look forward to hosting Governor Bill Lee and Tennessee Economic and Community Development Commissioner Bob Rolfe for this special jobs announcement.

The good news continues for Carroll County.
Recently, Hexpol Compounding, LLC purchased the former Preferred Rubber in Huntingdon, Dynamix Casting Fluxes opened in Huntingdon in 2020, Granges in Huntingdon announced a significant expansion for the year 2021.
In McKenzie, Pottery Direct started manufacturing pottery products in 2021, Cutting Specialities, Inc. was recently purchased by Haven Steel and plans to add to the workforce, Profile Metals is expanding its operations, and another McKenzie industry plans an yet unannounced expansion.
