PARIS — Henry County Medical Center proudly announced Steve Delaney, Director of Accounting, as Director of the Quarter at the December’s Department Directors’ meeting.
Delaney was recognized by Administration for the extra workload that the COVID-19 pandemic placed on him and the Accounting department in regards to workforce and for organization fiscally. Delaney spent countless hours researching funding and then the many changing rules and regulations with how to recognize the funding. To date, the organization has applied for and received $15.1 million in stimulus and grant funds. We also received another $11 million in Medicare Advanced Payments. This funding pays for crisis pay, hazard pay, and retention pay.
“We cannot say thank you enough for finding and securing these funds,” said Lisa Casteel, CEO. “Steve has also spent the past eight months serving behind the scenes truly as the interim CFO, even though he did not want to be recognized that way in title. We all recognize the spirit of support you give to this organization. Thank you again!”
