HUNTINGDON (June 11) — The Town of Huntingdon continued to celebrate its 200th anniversary as a city on Saturday, June 11 with information booklets about the history of downtown buildings and businesses.

The restored Colonial Tea Room on the Court Square served as a reception area for visitors. The Crews family welcomed people to their restored facility and had on display historical items, including some of the table settings of the original Tea Room.

A book of historical data about downtown buildings was distributed to visitors and tours were available.

Food trucks lined the downtown square.

A centerpiece of the celebration was the mock trial of Mr. Pig vs. B.B. (Big Bad) Wolf. The case involved Matt Maddox as Mr. Pig and his attorney, Robert Keeton, III. Mr. Wolf (Steve West) was the defendant with his attorney John Everett Williams. Larry Logan served as the judge, Neil Thompson was a witness, Sarah Bradberry was the court clerk, and Kenneth Todd served as the bailiff. Emory Williams served as Little Red Riding Hood and Devon Williams as grandma. The wolf was found guilty.
