Huntingdon Celebrates with Main Street Christmas Parade

HUNTINGDON (December 14) — The annual Christmas parade in downtown Huntingdon was Saturday, December 14 and served as the conclusion of a festive celebration on Saturday afternoon around the Court Square.

Huntingdon Police Department sponsored the annual parade.

It had emergency vehicles, a marching band, floats, antique cars and tractors, and horse-drawn wagons.

Winners were as follows:

Floats - 1st Place – A.J.’s All-Star Cafe, 2nd Place – E-3 Fitness.

Motorized Vehicles - 1st Place – R&R Towing, 2nd Place – Jan Ostiguy, 1991 mini Suzuki

Antique Tractor - 1st Place – Jason Wade, 1952 John Deere, 2nd Place – Brad Hampton, 1956 John Deere Model 60.

Antique Vehicle - 1st Place – Cyril Ostiguy, 1949 Ford pickup, 2nd Place – Colonial Tea Room, 1979 Corvette.

Horse and Wagon - 1st Place – Josh McMackin,, 2nd Place – Jame Summers-miniature horse and wagon.

Miscellaneous - 1st Place – Rebekka Reed-ATV, and 2nd Place – Brenda Lowery “The Grinch”
