Public Intoxication — A Trezevant man was cited into court on December 15 after causing problems at a Huntingdon residence.
Jack G. Amos, 44, was charged with public intoxication. According to the report by Patrolman Chris Cole, officers responded to a call about an altercation at a residence at Drew Court at around 7:30 p.m. A female resident told officers that Amos, her ex-boyfriend, was trying to get into her home and she didn’t want him there.
Cole reported that Amos appeared to be intoxicated, and Amos told officers that he had been drinking vodka. Officers told Amos to leave and warned him that he would be charged if he caused any more problems. About 10 minutes later, officers were called to a residence on Bridgeman Street, where they found Amos on the front porch yelling and screaming at his ex-girlfriend.
Sex Offender Registry — A Huntingdon man was arrested December 3 for failing to follow legal requirements as a convicted sex offender.

Raymond Lockett, 40, was charged with violation of sex offender registry law.
According to the police report, Lockett recently moved from McKenzie to Huntingdon but failed to report this change of address to local law enforcement within 48 hours as required by law.
Shoplifting — A Huntingdon woman was cited into court December 6 after allegedly taking items from a Huntingdon business.
Mary Elizabeth Crews, 42, was charged with theft under $1,000. According to the report by Officer Labe Ezell, he responded to a call about a woman putting items in her purse at Dollar General Store. Ezell confronted Crews outside the store, and she admitted to concealing items in her purse.
Ezell escorted Crews back inside the store, where she scanned $105.45 in items from her purse and put them back where she got them.
