Leaving the Scene, Drugs — Dora Lee Ewald, 53, of Huntingdon was charged with leaving the scene of an accident and possession of methamphetamine following a May 6 traffic accident in Huntingdon.
According to the report by Officer Labe Ezell, Eward was driving a 2007 Ford Taurus on Tower Road when she veered off the roadway and struck a tree and then left the scene of the accident. Ezell caught up with her and pulled her over at the intersection of Hawkins and Rollins. Ewald gave Ezell permission to search her vehicle, and during that search, Ezell found 0.3 grams of a substance that field-tested positive for methamphetamine.
Domestic Assault — Herbert L. Strayhorn, 58, of Huntingdon was charged with domestic assault following a May 4 incident in Huntingdon.
According to the report by Officer Kodie Edwards, a woman called the HPD and said her neighbors in the other side of the duplex at 255 Watson Avenue were yelling and screaming and the walls were shaking. Upon arrival, Edwards was given a description of a black male (later identified as Strayhorn) who left the scene. Edwards spoke to the victim, Crystal Greer, and she told him that she and Strayhorn got into an argument, and Strayhorn struck her in the face. Greer said she grabbed a hammer, trying to make Strayhorn leave, but he struck her again before fleeing the residence. After officers learned Strayhorn lives at 219 Maple Street, an officer went to Strayhorn’s residence and brought him back to the duplex. When questioned by officers, Strayhorn did not confirm nor deny striking the victim.

According to the report by Officer Shelton Moon, he responded to 181 Cotham Drive after receiving a call stating that Robinson was trying to make entry into the home. The caller also stated that Robinson damaged a 2018 Range Rover with a metal pipe and ripped the storm door from the house. Upon arrival, Moon found that Robinson had already left the scene, so he took statements from residents. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at nearly $1,500, though an estimate on damage to the storm door was given at the time of the report.
