License Violation — Daniel Arnold Brown, 32, of Adamsville was cited for speeding and driving on a suspended license during a Jan. 17 traffic stop in Huntingdon.
Officer Brad Allen reported he pulled over a vehicle driven by Brown after clocking the vehicle at 51 mph in a 35 mph zone on Lexington Street. A computer check showed that Brown’s license was suspended.
Shoplifting — Mary Beth Lancaster, 40, of Paris was cited for theft of property under $1,000 on Jan. 17 at Walmart in Huntingdon.
According to the report by Officer Richard Crossno, he was called to Walmart regarding a suspected shoplifter, and as he was arriving at the scene, Lancaster was being stopped by store security while attempting to leave the store. When asked to accompany them to the office for questioning, Lancaster produced a box containing a women’s watch. Lancaster admitted to taking the item and said she has a problem with stealing. Several other watch boxes were damaged during the incident, and Lancaster owes a total of $48.73 to Walmart in restitution.

Drug Charges, License Violation — Jermile Adams, 34, of Huntingdon was charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent, possession of schedule VI, drug paraphernalia, and driving on a suspended license (first offense) during a Jan. 18 traffic stop in Huntingdon.
According to the report by Officer Labe Ezell, he responded to a call about a vehicle stopped in the middle of the road on Skyline Drive with the driver possibly being asleep at the wheel. As Ezell drove up on the vehicle, the driver (Adams) started to drive away, so Ezell pulled the vehicle over. Ezell noted he could detect the odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle while speaking with Adams, and a computer check showed Adams’ license was suspended. Ezell observed a clear glass pipe next to the driver’s seat and a roll of small baggies on top on the center console. During a search of the vehicle, officers also found approximately 4.5 grams of a substance that field-tested positive for meth, two grams of marijuana, a half-smoked marijuana cigarette, and another roll of plastic baggies.
Drugs Charges, License Violation — Kayla M. Carter, 30, of Huntingdon was charged with drug possession, unlawful drug paraphernalia, and driving on a revoked license during a Jan. 21 traffic stop in Huntingdon.
According to the report by Officer Joseph Hedge, he pulled over a vehicle driven by Carter because he had prior knowledge that her license was revoked. A computer check confirmed this. While speaking with Carter, Hedge detected the odor of marijuana. While searching the vehicle, the officer found part of a hand-rolled marijuana cigar, a baggie containing a small amount of meth, a small bag of marijuana, and a pipe with meth residue in it in one of her pockets.
