Theft — Vicki L. Harper, 62, of McKenzie was charged with Theft of Merchandise under $1000.
On December 2, Walmart reported shoplifting. Mr. Lowe had Vicki Harper in his office when he advised the officers Harper had stolen four boxes of headache reliever totaling to $27.96. Walmart was able to recover all items, they are not owed any restitution. Harper was cited into court.
Domestic, Vandalism — Michael G. Hunter, 20, of Huntingdon was charged with Domestic Assault and Vandalism under $1000.
On December 3, officers arrived and spoke with Barbara Hunter, who stated her son and her had been in a disagreement when her son shoved her, then grabbed her laptop, throwing it and causing damage. Officers spoke with the son, who stated the same thing as his mother, he was taken into custody at that time.
Multiple Arrest — Sebastian Rojas (19), Nelson E. Bundren (20), and Daniel Lara (25) of McKenzie were all cited into court and charged with theft of property conduct involving merchandise.
On December 2, Officer Allen responded to shoplifter at Walmart. Joe Lowe advised officers, the three had taken several items without paying for them.
Multiple Charges — Kenneth Wayne Cherry, 34, of Huntingdon was cited for driving while license is revoked: first offense, expired registration, and violation of financial responsibility. Mr. Cherry must book into the Carroll County Jail no later then December13.
On December 3, Officer Patton responded to a one vehicle crash in Huntingdon. Upon his arrival he observed a white 2002 GMC Yukon on the side of the roadway. The vehicle had ran off the road, into a chain link fence. The registration displayed on the vehicle was expired and a computer check confirmed Mr. Cherry had a revoked license. Mr. Cherry was also unable to provide proof of insurance.
Suspended License — Gabriel Alen Hillsman, 46, of Atwood was issued a citation for court and charged with driving on a suspended license; second offense.
December 4, Officer Allen conducted a traffic stop due to the officer’s prior knowledge of the driver’s license being suspended. Gabriel Hillsman was issued a citation at that time.
