ATWOOD - West Carroll Special School District launched a monthly health challenge to promote wellness among staff members.
The initiative, led by Health Coordinator Leslie Chappell, targets water consumption, encouraging participants to track their water intake. West Carroll’s Hydration Challenge aims to raise awareness about the health benefits of proper hydration, such as improved energy, digestion, and cognitive function.
Participants will log their daily water consumption, fostering healthy habits and a sense of community.
Prizes will reward those who consistently meet their hydration goals, adding a fun, competitive element to the challenge.
"We're excited to see our community embrace healthier choices," said Chappel. As the challenge unfolds, enthusiasm is high, with many already experiencing the benefits of increased water intake.
