Icey-Tek Hosts Fireworks, Concert

Posted

HUNTINGDON — Icey-Tek USA sponsored a fireworks and country music show at the Carroll County Civic Center on Friday, July 3.

The featured performer was Drake White.

Gates opened at 5 p.m. Admission was free. Cash donations at the gate supported Michael Strange Foundation, Navy SEALs Fund and Special Operations Excursions.

Concessions and food trucks were on-site.

Patrick Mudge of Icey-Tek in Huntingdon thanked everyone for supporting the event and for supporting Icey-Tek, especially during the shutdown of businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic.

He said Icey-Tek wanted to thank the people of Huntingdon and Carroll County by sponsoring the country music concert and fireworks show. He thanked the food vendors for providing food to the attendees at reasonable prices. Sponsors made the evening possible, said Mudge.

Blake White, the featured entertainer, put on an exciting performance in his first show this year after some medical issues in 2019 that sidelined him.

Attendees brought their lawnchairs to the fairgrounds where there was plenty of room to social distance and enjoy one of the first social outings of 2020.

Following the music show, a spectacular fireworks show filled the sky with colorful displays.
