James, Bonnie Webb Celebrate 72th Anniversary

Posted

July 12 was the 72nd wedding anniversary of James E. and Bonnie Jean Webb of Huntingdon. They shared their anniversary on Sunday separated by glass, since no one is allowed visitors inside AHC-McKenzie, where Bonnie is a resident. Because of the pandemic, Mr. James stood outside and looked in as his wife looked out at her husband.
Their daughter, Gail Webb West wrote, “This isn’t the celebration any of us dreamed of or wanted for them. But he still got to tell her, “You sure look pretty!” She got to tell him, “I remember 72 years ago today.” And they got to tell each other what they always have and always will know, “I love you.”
Blessed Anniversary to my parents, James E. and Bonnie Jean Webb! Thank you for showing me that even genuine love isn’t always easy; but it’s always worth it and for living out a truthful example of what those vows actually involve.”
