TREZEVANT — Funeral services for Mr. James (Jimmy) Morris McClain are Thursday, October 22, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 5 to 8 p.m. and Thursday 9 a.m. until service time. Interment is at Trezevant Cemetery and Brother John Forgy will officiate.
Mr. McClain, 80, died Monday, October 19, 2020 at AHC Health Care McKenzie. He was born June 4, 1940 in Palmersville, Tenn. to Harry Douglas and Helen Simmons McClain. He retired from Tenn. Department of Transportation but he was also a school teacher and coach for the Trezevant Blue Devils. Mr. McClain is a member of Trezevant Church of Christ.
He is survived by two daughters, Shan (Norris) DePriest of Trezevant and Nichole (Benjie) Lawrence of McLemoresville, one son, Greg (Lori) McClain of Springville, a sister, Janelle Argo Waddell of Jackson, nine grandchildren, Clint (Sara) McClain, Hayden McClain, Brooke (Shane) DePriest, Ben Parker, Tanner (Melanie) Coleman, Ty DePriest, Chancey (Bianca) De Priest, Morgan (Cordon) Hight and Jack Lawrence and nine great-grandchildren, Hudson, Bladen, Piper, Gavin, Gage, Benjamin Jr. Andrew, Callan and baby Hight.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Janice McClain, and brother, Kenny McClain.
