Jenny Atchison Hastings, 49, of Paris, Tenn., died Saturday, December 4, 2021, at her residence.

She was the office manager for Westan Insurance in McKenzie, Tenn., since 2006. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Paris. Jenny was an animal lover, especially cats and bees. She enjoyed swimming at KOA Campground and loved the color pink. Jenny grew up in Puryear, Tenn., as a child and teenager and loved being from Puryear. During her youth, she was a cheerleader for Puryear Junior High School and Henry County High School.

Jennifer was born February 24, 1972, to the late Mike Atchison and Betty Smith Atchison, who survives, of Paris.

She was married December 22, 2015, to Ryan Michael Hastings, who survives, of Paris.

Along with her mother and husband, she is also survived by her daughter, Taylor McSwain-Adams (Kevin) of Spring Hill, Tenn.; three stepchildren, Zachary Hastings, Sally Hastings, and Charlie Hastings, all of Paris; one sister, Jodie (George) Fields of Camden, Tenn.; two brothers, Jeff (Veronica) Atchison of Paris, and Justin (Leann) Atchison of Brentwood, Tenn.; four nieces, Amber Hastings, Lenik Atchison, Charlotte Atchison, and Eve Burner; five nephews, Eric Hastings, Evan Hastings, William Hastings, Carsen Marshall, and Landen Marshall; best friend, Artie (Jason) Burner of Orlinda, Tenn.; best friend and co-worker, Amber Sam; cousin and best buddy, Jacob Pinson; and a large group of cousins.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242. The body is to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at Bethany Baptist Church, with Johnny Farmer officiating.
