HUNTINGDON — Funeral services for Lt. Jimmy W. Hand are Thursday, August 30, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church Trezevant. Interment is at Friendship Cemetery, Friendship, Tenn. at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Malcolm Norton is the officiant.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church Trezevant and Thursday, August 30, 2018 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church.
 Lt. Jimmy W. Hand, retired Chief Criminal Investigator for Gibson County, died Sunday August 26, 2018 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Huntingdon.  Lt. Hand was a member of First Baptist Church Trezevant, and the Fraternal Order of Police. He also worked for Trezevant Police Department and retired as a Master Sergeant in the Air Force. He was born in Dyersburg, TN on October 17, 1940 to J.B and Lottie Richardson Hand. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Brenda Newman.
 He is survived by his daughter, Debbie (Rowdy) Goodrich of Huntingdon, son Clint (Annie) Hand of Lavinia, brother, Mike (Beth) Hand of Nesbit, Miss., three grandchildren Nathan (Shelly) Worrell, Charlotte Winberry, Kelsey Hand and five great-grandchildren Kyler, Ashton, Logan, Janzen and Ainsley.
