John Darius Watson

HUNTINGDON - Mr. John Darius Watson, 75, of Huntingdon, Tennessee died Thursday May 19, 2022 at his home.

Funeral services were Saturday May 21, 2022 in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Interment was in Carroll Memorial Gardens. Brother Doug Sellers officiating.

Mr. Watson was born February 6, 1947 to the late William Darius Watson and Avarene West Watson. He was retired from J R Wauford Engineering Company and he was a member of Christian Chapel Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife, Janice Parham Watson; two sons, Steve (Lisa) Oatsvall and their daughter, Amanda (Brian) Oatsvall and their child Jayci; John Watson and his children Brittany and Jacob; one daughter, Dayna Smith and her children, Hannah (Daniel) Hilliard and Sara Beth Smith; and a very special great-granddaughter, Adeline “Adi” Grace Hilliard; three sisters Margaret Jackson, Ann Britton and Jane Petty; one brother, Ed (Nancy) Watson.
