Kelly Todd is West Carroll Principal

ATWOOD ­­— Mrs. Kelly Todd was named the new principal at West Carroll Junior Senior High School. She has served as the assistant principal at West Carroll Junior Senior High School for the last two years. Mrs. Todd begins her new role as principal on July 1, 2019 and she is looking forward to serving the students, faculty/staff, and community.
Kelly graduated from Milan High School in 1985. She received her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1991. She obtained her master’s degree in Administration and Supervision from Trevecca Nazarene University in 2003. She is entering her 27th year in education.
She began her career teaching first grade in inner city Oklahoma. After four years, she decided to return to Tennessee. The majority of her teaching experience has been at the middle school level in 7th and 8th grade. From there, she was appointed half time academic coach and half time teacher. The following year she was assigned to be the first-ever district wide academic coach. After two years, she was named assistant principal in which she served six years. She went back to the classroom teaching first grade for two years before joining West Carroll system two years ago.
She and her husband, Kris have been married for 17 years. They have four children. Noah and Sara Grace are twins. They are 22 and seniors at Auburn University. Kendall is 17 and will be a junior at Milan High School and Kollin is 15 and will be a freshman. They enjoy family time at the beach and watching movies. They are avid animal lovers and have adopted many pets throughout the years. They currently have three dogs, Ike, Rhu, and Max.
