McKENZIE, Tenn. - A funeral service for Kenneth (Ken) Clarke Bean is Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at McKenzie First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends Wednesday at the church at 11 a.m. until service time. Reverends Kevin Wood and Jackson Brewer will officiate.

Mr. Bean, 84 years old, died Monday, October 7, 2019 at his residence. He was born March 19, 1935 in Maysville, Kentucky to Albert and Lois Vice Bean. He retired as vice president of Goodwill Industries of Kentucky. He is a member of McKenzie First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, moderator of Cumberland Presbytery, Cumberland Presbyterian elder, member of Ministry, Council of Cumberland Presbyterian Church and member of McKenzie Planning Council. He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Patrick (Pat) C. Bean.

He is survived by his wife of 19-1/2  years, Nancy Mouser Bean of McKenzie, daughter, Leslie (Steve) Richter of Munfordville, Kentucky, a son, Jason (Suzanne) Mikel of Nolensville, a sister-in-law, Becky Bean of Naples, Florida, six grandchildren, Phil (Lorena) Richter, Brian Richter, John (Chelsey) Shepard, Steven Shepard, Phillip Mikel (Gabby Frisse), and Wes Mikel, three great-grandchildren and one special son, Leo Chang of Nolensville.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorials be made to McKenzie First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
