Mr. Lindell Wayne Meggs, 71 of Huntingdon, Tennessee, died Thursday, October 15, 2020, at his home.

Funeral services were Sunday, October 18, 2020 at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. David McPherson and Ethan Benson officiating.  Interment was in the Davis Chapel Cemetery.

Mr. Meggs was born March 8, 1949 in Huntingdon, Tennessee, to the late Lonnie Ray and Ola Beatrice (Patterson) Meggs.  He worked as a Cast Operator at Norandal, USA and was a member of Chickasaw Drive Church of Christ, where he served as an elder.  He was also preceded in death by one brother, Johnny Meggs (Betty). 

He is survived by wife of 53 years, Deborah (McMinn) Meggs, three daughters, Angela Benson (Kurt) of Paragould, Arkansas, Ginger Angelos (Pete), Amanda Mayfield (Brandon), both of Huntingdon, two sisters, Sara Glisson (Joe) of Huntingdon, Debbie Bunn (Daryl) of McKenzie, three brothers, Ray Meggs (Polly), Bobby Meggs (Ruby), and Randy Meggs (Janean), all of Huntingdon.  He also leaves eight grandchildren, Ethan Benson (Ellie), Ashton Lee (Jordan), Grace Angelos, Olivia Angelos, Samuel Angelos, Jack Mayfield, Chase Mayfield, and Lonnie Mayfield.
