McKENZIE — Gavin Summers of McKenzie and Cody Nance of Paris hosted the successful Summers/Nance bull-riding event at the Summers Outdoor Arena in McKenzie. The event was November 6 and attracted 24 bullriders from Arkansas, Kentucky, North Carolina, Ohio and Tennessee plus three local mini-bull riders.
The event was sponsored by Cody Nance Invitational, Over-All Nutrition, Ridgely Auction and Realty, Slide and Ride Saloon, Southern Chix Therapies, State Line and Punchy as Hell Brand.
The top three winners, Ervin Yoder, Josh Stepp and Colby Burgess qualified to compete in the Cody Nance Invitational Bull-Riding Challenge in January 2021 in Jackson. The winner of the mini-bull riding was Petyon Fowler of Gleason.
