Mc Kenzie, TNMcKENZIE - Funeral services for Margie May Pate are Thursday, February 13, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. Interment is at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 12, 5 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, 9:30 a.m. until service time.
Mrs. Pate, age 91, died, Sunday, February 9, 2020 at her daughter’s residence. She was a member of Blooming Grove United Methodist Church and a homemaker. She was born July 31, 1928 in Bemis, Tenn. to Lapha and Claris Wilson Russell.
She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Campbell of Centerton, Ark. and son, Dennis (Kate) Pate of Springville, two sisters, Betty Anderson of McKenzie and Regina “Pete” Taylor of Nashville, ten grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harry Pate, daughter, Charlotte Pate, three sisters, Leola Taylor, Sylvia Cox and Marie Simpson and three brothers, Verdell Russell, Dempsy Russell and Bobby Russell.
