Mc Kenzie, TNTREZEVANT - A gathering of friends for Marty W. Bennett is Sunday, August 16, 2020 at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home 4:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Mr. Bennett, 60, died Thursday, August 13, 2020 at Henderson County Community Hospital. He was a truck driver for Ronnie Cooper Trucking, the owner of Hartsmill High Banks Kart Track and member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church. He was born in Dyersburg, on July 23, 1960 to Billy and Stella Ruth Neal Bennett. He is preceded in death by his father, father-in-law John Cardwell, and sister-in-law, Lisa French.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry Cardwell Bennett, son, Dustin (Melissa) Bennett, mother, Stella Ruth Bennett, two grandchildren, Delaynie Bennett and Paisley Bennett,, all of Trezevant, three sisters, Debi McDaniel of Big Sandy, Robin (Ricky) Brockman of Trezevant and Sharon (Mark) Wright of Trezevant, mother-in-law, Linda Cardwell of Trezevant and two brothers-in-law, Steve (Susan) Cardwell of Skullbone and Jim French of Springville.
