Mc Kenzie, TNHUNTINGDON — Mrs. Mary Laverne McMackin, 94, of Huntingdon, Tennessee died Friday, July 26, 2019 at Baptist Hospital in Huntingdon, Tennessee.
Funeral services were Sunday, July 28, 2019 in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Interment was at Marlboro Cemetery.
Laverne was born March 7, 1925 to the late Wiley and Onie Stone in Carroll County, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Brodie McMackin, whom she married on July 4, 1953; and her brother, Eldon Stone.
She worked as a bookkeeper for McMackin TV for many years. She was a longtime member of the Huntingdon Church of Christ.
She is survived by her daughter, Cindy (Rickey) Haddock of Huntingdon, Tennessee; grandson, Kevin (Beth) Haddock of Olive Branch, Mississippi; and great-granddaughter, Lucy June Haddock of Olive Branch, Mississippi.
