McKENZIE (February 9) — McKenzie Lady Rebels (23-1) earned a hard fought 65-63 victory over the visiting team from Arlington on Tuesday, February 9.
The Lady Rebels scored 16, 16, 15, and 18 in the respective quarters as compared to Arlington’s 12, 14, 18 and 19 for Arlington.
For McKenzie, Dani Dyer scored 10, including one field goal, one three-pointer and five foul shots; Kyenna Sneed scored five, including a three; Briley Auvenshine, who scored 11, including three 3-pointer; Savannah Davis with 13, including a three-pointer; Mikaela Reynolds with 5; Kylie Reynolds with 7, including a three; Lilly Bennett with 12, and Anna Callahan with 2.
Arlington was led by Carmen Taylor with 20, including four 3-pointers, Charmen Taylor with 19, including two 3-pointers, and Taylor Dupree with 12, A. Long with 6. K. Wilkins, K. Coburn, and C. Hart each had two.
