McKenzie Memorial Library Reopens

Posted

McKenzie Memorial Library reopened Monday, June 8.
The library is practicing social distancing for community safety.
Only five people will be allowed into the library at a time, no more than two people per family, for up to one hour each, including time on the computer. Only two computers will be accessible for 45 minutes per session per day.
Guests may come in on a first come, first served basis. When there are five people inside, others will be placed on a waiting list.

Patrons are asked to remain six feet apart, wear their own face masks and use hand sanitizer (which will be available) immediately upon entering.
Guests are limited to the lobby.
Patrons are encouraged to pre-order items by phone or stop at the front desk and make their request to a staff member. The staff member will retrieve the item and check out the material to them. At this time, patrons will not be allowed to browse the shelves on their own.
This is Phase 1 of reopening.
