McKenzie Nutrition Hosts Grand Opening

McKENZIE (September 19) — The new owners of McKenzie Nutrition hosted a grand opening Saturday, complete with an open house and ribbon-cutting.
The business, located at 16214 Highland Drive, offers meal replacement shakes, flavored teas, specialty drinks, beauty drinks and kids’ drinks in a wide variety of flavors, infused with products from Herbalife Nutrition, a global supplement company founded 40 years ago.
Lisa and Mark Weaver and Chris and Tina Singleton took over ownership of the McKenzie Nutrition on September 1. Lisa and Chris told The Banner it’s a family operation and expressed their appreciation for all of the support they have received from their families.
Chris said he looked forward to a new challenge, “keeping the city of McKenzie happy with good teas, drinks and shakes.” Lisa added she was excited to “provide people with healthier options.”

Lisa noted that they are constantly adding new flavors and products. She said Herbalife introduced a new line of menus just as they were taking over, and that the fall flavors were coming into season.
Chris added they offer free delivery to businesses in town who order a minimum of four drinks.
At the open house, guests were treated to free samples and invited to “spin the wheel” for prizes.
The ribbon-cutting was attended by McKenzie Mayor Jill Holland and Carroll County Mayor Joseph Butler, who each welcomed the new owners and congratulated them on the new endeavor.
McKenzie Nutrition is open Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. and can be reached at 731-207-1131.
