Vandalism — McKenzie Police Officer Jeremiah Brooks arrested Bryan Michael Townes, 33, McKenzie for vandalism after he admitted throwing an object and breaking the rear driver’s side window of the automobile of Shaccarro Weatherford of McKenzie.
The incident occurred on May 22 at The Car Wash. Townes was arrested for vandalism.
Theft — Officer Jeffrey Lowden took a report from Brian Smith stating that his Glock semi-automatic handgun had been stolen by a juvenile visiting a family member at his home. Smith noticed the weapon missing after the juvenile left. Smith then drove around hoping to locate the juvenile then drove to city hall to report the theft. Smith produced receipts and serial numbers of the weapon. The juvenile had uploaded photos to Snapchat where he was displaying the weapon.
