Driving on Suspended/Revoked License — On October 7, Officer Justin Brister observed an individual known to have a revoked Tennessee driver’s license. According to Brister’s report, the driver was Porter Cunningham Jr who admitted that he was revoked for DUI. Cunningham was arrested and charged with Driving While Revoked-Fourth Offense.
Driving on Suspended/Revoked License — A Martin man was arrested and charged with multiple traffic offenses after a stop on October 9 for expired registration violation by Officer Chance Townes. The driver, Dossie Wright of Martin admitted to not having insurance on the vehicle and a computer check revealed that the registration did not match the vehicle. The computer check also revealed Wright had seven prior convictions of Driving on Revoked. He was arrested and charged with Driving While Revoked-Eighth Offense and cited for failure to show proof of insurance and removal of registration.
Criminal Trespass — James Ryg notified McKenzie Police that someone was at a Cherry Street residence without the owner’s permission. According to a report by Officer Jeff Winberry, he found Keith Haynes and Rebecca Todd at the residence and advised them that the renter did not want them there. Winberry was called back to the residence later and the two were there again and this time were arrested and charged with Criminal Trespass and taken to Carroll County Jail.
