Driving on Suspended/Revoked License — On December 5, Officer Jeff Lowden conducted a traffic stop on a gold Mercury sedan for a light law violation.
According to Lowden’s report, the driver, Wynter Strayhorn of McKenzie, was found to be driving on a suspended license and had a prior charge of Driving on a Suspended License.
Strayhorn was arrested and charged with Driving On a Suspended License and transported to Carroll County Jail.
Theft of Merchandise/Shoplifting — Officer Jeff Lowden responded to a call at a McKenzie business December 13 regarding a shoplifter.
An employee advised Lowden that a customer identified as Ramona Clark of Buchanan had set off the alarm.
According to Lowden’s report, Clark had several unpaid for items and was cited into General Sessions Court for Theft of Merchandise/Shoplifting and served with a ban letter from the business.
Driving on Suspended/Revoked License — Officer Justin Brister initiated a traffic stop on December 16 after observing a black Nissan Maxima exit a business onto the highway with no headlights on.
The driver, Dustin Whitson of Greenfield, was found to be driving on a suspended license and was cited into General Sessions Court for Driving on a Suspended/Revoked License-First Offense.
