Theft — On February 1, Officer Kyle Beauchamp took a report of a vehicle driving away from Pockets without paying for $48.25 worth of fuel. The store clerk said it was a mid-2000s, older, beat-up, red, Chevy Avalanche driven by a white male with a female passenger.
Driving While Suspended — On February 5, Officer Jeffrey Lowden charged Andrew Edgar Arnold of McKenzie with driving on a suspended license.

Lowden stopped a Dodge Ram after recognizing the driver had a suspended license. Arnold was cited into Carroll County General Sessions Court.
Driving While Suspended — On February 5, Officer Justin Brister charged Raymond Earl Lockett, 41, of McKenzie with his seventh offense of Driving on a Revoked License. Officer Brister saw a Kia at the intersection of Hamilton and Stonewall streets. The officer followed him to a Linden Heights address where he parked. Lockett said he was in the process of getting a divorce and was trying to get his clothes from that apartment. The vehicle was towed from the scene and Lockett was transported to jail.
Simple Possession or Exchange — Officer Dalton Raspberry stopped a vehicle with illegal window tint. The vehicle was driving by Jeffery Ball, Puryear. Officer Raspberry smelled marijuana and discovered a baggie of green leafy substance weighing 30.6 grams. He was cited into court on a charge of Simple Possession of Schedule VI and warned about the illegal window tint.
