Domestic Assault — Two were arrested on charges of Domestic Assault after separate incidents on February 6.
Dakota Rainwater, 28, and Byran Wuersch, 43, were preparing to eat at a residence on Allen Street. According to the report, Rainwater and Wuersch got in an argument resulting in food being thrown. Wuersch walked to his mother’s house, which was nearby, and Rainwater followed and assaulted Wuersch. Officer Jeremiah Brooks saw Rainwater driving in town and arrested him and transported him to Carroll County Jail under $1,000 bond.
Rainwater returned home with lunch for he and Wuersch and an argument ensued. Wuersch took the food from Rainwater and threw it about the house and then assaulted Rainwater. Wuersch was charged with Domestic Assault and transported to Carroll County Jail and placed under $1,000 bond.

Sexual Battery — Officer Dalton Raspberry charged Michael Leon Fulcher, 67 with Sexual Battery after he reportedly slapped a female public service worker on the buttocks while she was involved in her daily duties. He also reportedly put his arm around her. The incident occurred around 11 a.m. February 10. Officers made contact with Fulcher at his address around 5 p.m. to make an arrest.
Assault – Three persons were cited into court for assault after an incident on February 13 on Main Street. Whitney Leann Kirkpatrick phoned police and reported she had been assaulted by neighbors Daylon Ballard, 23, Marlena Alexis Flores, 26, and Amber Walker, 25, all of 711 Main Street. The report indicates the three assaulted her over a noise complaint.
Ballard was transported to jail and held for Madison County authorities where he had an outstanding warrant on violation of community corrections.
Flores was transported to the Henry County line, where Henry County officers took her into custody on an outstanding warrant for vandalism.
