Driving on Suspended License — Sylvester Davis, Jr., 29, Trezevant, was charged with driving on a suspended license on November 23 at midnight.

Officer Trey Boucher stopped Davis’ car for not having taillights and discovered the driver’s license was suspended. He was also charged with violation of the light law. He was given 10 days to report for booking.

Driving on Suspended License — Jonathan Cody Farrell, 30, Barksdale Avenue, McKenzie, was charged with driving on a suspended license and violation of financial responsibility on November 26 at 8 p.m.

Officer Mark Boaz stopped the vehicle after MPD received a report of Farrell harassing his wife while she was working at a business in McKenzie. Upon the stop, Officer Boaz charged Farrell with a second offense driving on suspended. He was given 10 days to report for booking.

Theft — Matthew L. King, Joy Drive, 50, McKenzie filed a report that a woman borrowed his car and never returned it. He either wants the car returned or her charged with theft.

Officer Justin Brister took the report on November 24 from King, who said he loaned the car to Tiesha L. Haynes, of the same address. He believes she is now residing in Nashville.

Evading Arrest, Manufacture Methamphetamine — Nicholas J. Warren, 22, Tennessee Street, McKenzie, was charged with evading arrest and manufacturing meth after he was observed running on Linden Street on November 25.

Officer Dalton Raspberry’s report stated there were active warrants for Warren’s arrest. After a brief foot chase, Mr. Warren was taken into custody. A search of his person revealed a small baggie of crystal-like substance in his pants’ pocket. The substance field tested as positive for methamphetamine.

He was transported to Carroll County Jail. (Mr. Warren is not the pharmacist, who has a similar name.)
