Driving on Suspended License — Fred Matthew Spiker, Jr., 28, Spruce Street, McKenzie was charged with Driving on a Suspended License, Violation of Financial Responsibility, and Violation of the Light Law on September 24.

Officer Timothy Dillon stopped Spiker’s vehicle for an inoperable headlight. Spiker admitted he did not have insurance. A check of his license revealed the suspended status. He was cited into Carroll County Jail.

Dog Running at Large — Jennifer Irene Vandyke-Shafer, 46, Locust Street, McKenzie was charged with allowing her dog to run at large on September 23.

According to a report by Officer Dalton Raspberry, Vandyke-Shafer’s dog was attempting to attack another dog being walked. The female victim, who was walking the dog, was bit by Shafer’s dog and required medical attention. Shafer’s dog was taken into custody by animal control.


Driving on Suspended License — Brianna R. Pugh, 33, Thompson Road, Huntingdon, was cited for Driving on a Suspended License on September 27.

Officer Dalton Raspberry observed Pugh driving and knew of her license’s status and she was charged with Driving on Suspended-First Offense.

Failure to Appear — Nolan P. Raines, 20, Rogers Road, Scotts Hill was arrested on an outstanding warrant for Failure to Appear on September 23.

Officer Trey Boucher located Raines on Paris Street and made the arrest for Gibson County authorities.
