After a consent search, officers found a needle in English’s back pocket, digital scales, tablets believed to be Ecstasy, a torch lighter, a dark glass pipe, 1.2 grams of a leafy-green substance believed to be marijuana, a woman’s wallet with a driver’s license and another needle.

While en route to jail, Forrest confessed the officers did not find another concealed tub of drugs hidden in Forrest’s clothes. Forrest did not want the additional charge of bringing contraband into a penal facility at the jail.
