McKENZIE (March 30) — The McKenzie Special School District is providing meals to children during the school closure related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Breakfast and lunch are provided each weekday to anyone under the age of 18.
The two meals are distributed from 11 a.m. to noon daily at the back of McKenzie Middle School. Each child must be present to receive the meals.
Volunteers, consisting of school employees and school board members, deliver the meals to vehicles in a drive-thru fashion.
