McKenzie Schools to Continue Distance Learning Through September 4

Posted

McKENZIE (AUGUST 25, 2020) - Due to the continued rise of active COVID-19 cases in Carroll County and the current number of staff members who are isolated or quarantined, McKenzie Special School District will continue its distance learning plan through Friday, September 4 instead of returning to face-to-face instruction. MSSD plans to return to face to face instruction on Tuesday, September 8.

Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 1st grade will continue with the current face to face plan during this time.

We will continue to monitor cases both locally and in the county.

Lynn Watkins

McKenzie Director of Schools
