McKENZIE (March 27) — McKenzie summer softball leagues held a kickoff jamboree at McKenzie Park on Saturday. The event started with a prayer and singing of the National Anthem and the introduction of the teams. Each of the teams lined the inner-most area of the outfield of the high school softball field. The array of colors of uniforms were beautiful as the young competitors readied for competition. For some, it was their first season and others had a few years of competition.
