McLeese Arrested for Sexual Battery, Buying Alcohol for Minor

PARIS (March 5) — Travis McLeese of Paris was indicted by the Henry County Grand Jury, charged with two counts of sexual battery and one count of purchasing alcoholic beverages or beer for a minor.
McLeese is an event promoter and co-host of Sounds Like Life with Darryl Worley. He previously was the director of the Paris-Henry County Chamber of Commerce.
One indictment was sealed at Monday’s grand jury session in Henry County until the individual was arrested, which occurred this afternoon.

According to the indictment, he is charged with knowingly or intentionally engaging in unlawful sexual contact without the consent of the individual; charged with knowingly and intentionally engaging in unlawful sexual contact and “knew or had reason to know that…(the individual) was mentally incapacitated or physically helpless, thereby committing the offense of sexual battery” and charged with “knowingly or intentionally” buying alcoholic beverages or beer for the individual, “committing the offense of purchasing of alcoholic beverages or beer for minor”.
According to the indictment, the offenses occurred May 27, 2024.
Bond was set at $15,000.
