McKENZIE (January 8, 2025) - Early Wednesday morning crews from McKenzie, Huntingdon and Carroll County fire departments responded to a structure fire at Old West Steakhouse on Highway 79 in McKenzie.
The blaze resulted in what appears to be a total loss of all equipment and contents at the location which was set to be razed to make way for a Taco Bell franchise at the site.
It is unknown at this time if this event will affect the future plans for the property.
From our personal knowledge of how this process works, an investigation and report will follow. As of 4:43 p.m. Wednesday, no official report has been received.
Officials tell us it is still under investigation.
