HUNTINGDON (July 23) — Ollie Otter visited the Carroll County Library Thursday as part of the summer reading program. Ollie teaches kids and parents about seat belt and booster seat safety.
Ollie Otter and West Tennessee Coordinator Jennifer Tyler presented the program, which emphasizes the importance of proper seat belt and booster seat use, refraining from using phones while driving and slowing down when road workers are present.
After the program, kids were given packets of Ollie Otter goodies.
The Ollie Otter Seat Belt and Booster Seat Safety Program was developed by the Tennessee Road Builders Association and Tennessee Tech University to educate children with interactive programs through sponsorship with the Tennessee Highway Safety Office.
