McKENZIE — The No. 11 Bethel Lady Wildcats moved to 9-4 on the season with a convincing and record-setting 104-57 win over the visiting Oakland City Oaks Thursday night in Crisp Arena.
The Oaks dropped to 2-8.
The Cats are 6-0 at home on the season and 112-15 all-time in Crisp.
The 104 points are the most by a Lady Wildcat squad since they beat Loyola 106-100 last year in a five-overtime affair in New Orleans. Bethel scored 100 or more three times last year.
Tasia Jones recorded 12 assists which is a new single game record in Bethel history.
Bethel had a season high 32 assists.
Freshman Ryann Roberts nailed nine three-pointers which ties former Wildcat great Shamon Pearson for most three’s in a game.
Her 34 points are the most by a freshman since Lorna Hudson scored 45 against Morthland in January of 2013.
Her 34 points are the tenth most ever scored in a game by a Lady Wildcat.
Bethel hit a season high 18 three-pointers in the game.
