GLEASON (April 12) — In anticipation of Monday’s Grand Opening, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at Rolling Hills Miniature Golf on Highway 22 Friday, hosted by the Weakley County Chamber of Commerce.
The business is owned by Bobbie and Audie Ruble. The couple became instant millionaires thanks to a $7 investment by Audie into a fantasy football contest.
After some traveling, including a trip to Disney World with their family, they decided to invest their winnings in their community. Bobbie said at the ribbon-cutting, “Gleason is my home, my roots. I’m blessed, grateful and humble to have this opportunity. I pray that it’s not just a golf course, but a place to bring your children and grandchildren and know that you’re in a safe place.”
