Rod Sturdivant Named to 2019 Tennessee FCA Hall of Fame

Former Bruceton-Hollow Rock Central Head Football Coach Rod Sturdvant was recently inducted into the Tennessee Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
Sturdivant coached at Bruceton from 1981 until 2003 with Central making 20 consecutive playoff appearances between 1983 and 2002. He was 207-70 while coaching the Tigers winning the Class A state title in 1989 and making two runner-up appearances in 1990 and 1995. Central’s playoff record under Sturdivant was 38-19.
Sturdivant was inducted along with three other coaches including 54-year veteran Tom Crawford of Brentwood High School, former Donelson Christian Coach Dennis Goodwin, and former Milan Head Coach Jeff Morris. The induction was held December 7 in Cookeville.
