Mc Kenzie, TNMcKENZIE, Tenn. - Funeral services for Roger Lee Pierce, Sr., 73, are 11 a.m. Thursday, December 3, 2020 at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. and Thursday, 10 a.m. until service time. Interment is at the Tennessee Veterans Cemetery at Parkers Crossroads at 1:30 p.m.
Mr. Pierce died November 29, 2020 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. He was a retired truck driver and a Vietnam Army veteran. He was born in Omaha, Nebraska on November 25, 1947 to Henry F. and Lucille Mildred Anderson Pierce.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry Pierce of McKenzie, two daughters, Jamie (Jimmy) McKennie of McKenzie and Tonya Peterson of Texas, three sons, Joshua Pierce of McKenzie, Roger (Monica) Pierce, Jr. of Howell, Mich. and Rodney (Kim) Pierce of Deerborne Heights, Mich., one brother, Larry (Theresa) Pierce of McKenzie, twelve grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Jean Hernandez, Janet Martin and Joyce Pierce, and three brothers, Jerry Pierce, Raymond Pierce and Gilbert Pierce and one great-grandchild.
